All-New Industrial-Grade IMU, Comprehensive Performance Improvements

The X25 MEGA intelligent controller features the all-new ADIS-16607 industrial-grade IMU. This IMU is a new-generation product jointly launched by CUAV and ADI, designed for the fields of robotics and automated control. Compared to the previous-generation ADIS-16470, it offers lower power consumption and superior performance. The gyroscope and accelerometer adopt a high-range redundant design, which can be adapted to high-mobility and high-roll-rate operating scenarios, effectively enhancing the system’s operational safety in extreme attitudes.

The X25 MEGA features selected industrial-grade IMUs from TDK and ADI, characterized by high precision, high vibration resistance, a wide measurement range, low noise, and minimal thermal drift. It incorporates two sets of barometers and the industrial-grade RM310 anti-interference Electronic Compass. It supports failover and ensures safe operation in various complex environments.

Dual Temperature Compensation System, Stable Performance at High and Low Temperatures

X25 MEGA features a newly upgraded dual temperature compensation system. The onboard IMU and the motherboard temperature control work in conjunction to build a constant temperature zone inside the controller, ensuring IMU, MCU and crystal oscillator are always kept in a constant temperature environment, maintaining system performance stability.

Cool-Toned Precision Color Matching, Industrial Attributes Maxed Out

The X25 MEGA’s core color scheme breaks away from the traditional single silver-white color scheme of the CUAV intelligent controller’s core. It innovatively uses a low-saturation cool-toned technical blue, making it less susceptible to fingerprints, dust, and minor scratches, ensuring it stays looking new even when used outdoors. The equipment does not reflect or glare when exposed to strong light during outdoor operation, making it highly suitable for industrial use.

H7 Processor, Powerful Floating-Point Computing Power

It adopts a high-performance STM32H7 processor, bringing powerful intelligent computing to the system and supporting secure boot and secure firmware upgrade services. During operation, the CPU occupancy rate is lower, and it is compatible with the complete ArduPilot and PX4 drivers and functions (such as IMU temperature learning, non-GPS navigation, FFT filtering algorithm, and LUA script, etc.), and provides ample space for follow-up development and compatibility with new drivers.

CUAV’s patented fourth-generation tilt-symmetric damping matrix shock absorption provides precise and moderate underdamping adjustment, achieving omnidirectional balanced vibration reduction and attitude response; it supports external fixed ears for double-layer vibration reduction expansion, suppressing high-frequency vibration interference, stabilizing sensor data, and adapting to various harsh working conditions.

Wide-Range Power Supply, Multifunctional Power Adaptation in Various Scenarios

X25 MEGA is fully upgraded to a 10V ~ 18V high-voltage power supply, significantly improving power supply efficiency. The baseboard has a built-in 5V / 15A DC-DC high-power converter, and the external interface supports 5V / 12A output, empowering heavy-load devices.

X25 MEGA integrates a 100M Ethernet interface, supports Ethernet expansion of onboard computers, optical cameras, and data links, and can provide high-real-time, large-bandwidth communication guarantees for AI applications such as unmanned system swarm operations and visual navigation and tracking.

The PCBA adopts a fully automatic anti-corrosion paint spraying process for protection. After cleaning, drying, uniform spraying and constant temperature curing, a dense protective film is formed on the circuit board, providing protection against moisture, salt fog, dust, insulation and corrosion, significantly enhancing the durability of the equipment in complex outdoor environments.
